The word \u05d0\u05d7\u05dc\u05de\u05d4 (amethyst) has a numerical value of 84, the same numerical value as \u05e2\u05d6\u05d6, meaning to be strong, to have courage <sup>(3)<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The small Spanish town of the Granada region, Alhama <sup>(4)<\/sup>, is known for its thermal waters <sup>(5)<\/sup>, its spectacular natural environment and its rich historical heritage, notably the P\u00f3sito, an ancient 13<sup>th<\/sup> century synagogue which was transformed at 16<sup>th<\/sup> century in a communal attic (P\u00f3sito). Located on the Plaza de Los Presos (Place des Prisonniers), it is today one of the most emblematic buildings in medieval Alhama.<br>The P\u00f3sito is built according to the Siller\u00eda technique <sup>(6)<\/sup>.
