That is to say that every seven years one should not take advantage of the land of Israel, nor cultivate it. The parashah also cites the laws of <strong>y\u00f4v\u0113l<\/strong> (\u05d9\u05d5\u05d1\u05dc &#8211; \u00ab\u00a0<strong><em>jubilee<\/em><\/strong>). Every fifty years, alienated or pledged lands are freed, debts forgiven and slaves freed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>Pesach Ch\u00e9ni<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A person who could not participate in the Passover sacrifice, can perform it a month later (14 Iyar), Numbers 9:5-14. Passover Sheni also gives rise to the celebration of Hilula<sup>1<\/sup> of <strong>Rabbi Meir Baal HaNess<\/strong>, who died on 14 Iyar during the 2<sup>th<\/sup> century, while he was in exile.
